Service Outline

Improve the accuracy of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) pre-admission review.  SNFscan technology allows healthcare professionals to quickly identify and share critical keywords found in PDF documents.  Please read Terms & Conditions prior to use. The service is intended to improve the referral review process, NOT replace professional evaluation.  Not all PDF documents or keywords will scan correctly.

1. Download SNFscan app on mobile device (currently iOS). 

2. Open PDF document (patient referral) on mobile device. 

3. Select SNFscan app using the share feature/button on mobile device. 

4. Select "Scan Doc" in top right of mobile banner to initiate scan (30+ seconds). Keywords are not case sensitive. A maximum of 200 pages can be scanned per day. 

5. Results will appear following scan confirmation. 

6. Email scan results and original PDF file to another party via email function (top right right of mobile banner). 

The following standard keywords will be scanned for FREE, there is no need to add these keywords to your custom keyword listing: 

  1. behaviors 
  2. custodial
  3. discharge
  4. fall
  5. intravenous
  6. pain
  7. restraint
  8. smoker
  9. walker
  10. wound

Custom Keyword Accounts

With purchase, users have the ability to add custom keywords to be scanned. Custom keyword options are in addition to 10 FREE words.  Account membership payment processed through App Store. 

10 Additional Custom Keywords - $100 per month

20 Additional Custom Keywords - $150 per month
